About the Emsworth Design Statement

This document has been submitted to Havant Borough Council and at the Executive meeting on July 16th 2008 it was recommended That the Council approve the Emsworth Village Design Statement and the Design Considerations it contains as a material consideration in Development Control.

Subsequently, at the full council meeting on 23rd July the Emsworth Village Design Statement was approved and adopted.

About Emsworth

Emsworth is located close to the A3M and South Coast Trunk road and is within a short driving distance of both Portsmouth and Chichester.  The Railway station is has direct services to Brighton, London (Victoria), Portsmouth, Southampton and Salisbury

Emsworth is popular with sailors, artists, naturalists and walkers. The two tidal millponds to east and west are host to a variety of wild life.
